Manchester airport is approximately 90 minutes away from Liverpool city centre by train.

You can check train times and also book tickets at or buy a ticket on arrival. The stations are Manchester Airport and Liverpool Lime Street (this is the main station).

For taxis from Manchester airport you might want to try (it's 89 euros to Liverpool city centre so if you can arrange to share a taxi with others coming to the meeting it may work out cost effective).

Anyone arriving by car will need a car parking permit: please inform Andy Morse (A.P.Morse at if you require a parking permit.
